Philanthropy and Community Involvement
Our commitment to service also extends into our communities. Many of our Alliance Partners and internal stakeholders actively volunteer or donate to various nonprofit groups and foundations. It’s ingrained in our firm’s culture to serve others as we strive to make a difference in people’s lives – and it inspires the work we do for our partners.
The Dreamweaver Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling end-of-life wishes for seniors with terminal illnesses, founded by Ron and Jeanie Carson. Carson Institutional Alliance has actively participated in various activities for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation since 2011. In 2015, Ron & Jeanie Carson chaired the largest fundraiser of the year. Carson Institutional stakeholders are pitching in by participating in the JDRF Walk and other fundraising opportunities. Each year, Carson Wealth hosts its annual Bring Your Dog to Work Day. Team members are invited to bring their furry friends to work to raise money for the Nebraska Humane Society. Carson Wealth also participates in the Nebraska Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals. The money raised for this fundraiser is used to support the homeless animals at the Nebraska Humane Society. Tom and Nancy Osborne founded the TeamMates Mentoring Program in 1991 in an effort to provide support and encouragement to school aged youth. The goal of the program is to see youth graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education. Carson Wealth has over a dozen stakeholders who serve as mentors and are dedicated to making a difference in their community. For more information about TeamMates, click here.
Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission founded in 1954 committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Each day, Open Door Mission’s campus offers 816 safe, shelter beds to homeless men, women and children, serves over 2,000 hot, nutritious meals.
